Rules & Regulation for DSAC Students

  • The students should be punctual, prompt with neat hair cut & dress code.
  • The Students must be in class as per scheduled time table without deviation.
  • If the students absent, two classes for 1+1 courses & 4 classes for 2+1 course the attendance report submitted to Principal and same should be intimated to parents.
  • The absent classes more than above, he/she should be given with ‘E’ as per TNAU rules and regulation (TNAU, UG rules 6.1) and he/she must register the course fresh with juniors by paying semester fees.
  • The Students should be careful about boys-girls friendships. During college hours, students should avoid standing and talking in indecent places.
  • After coming to the college you have to go back to the hostel only at lunch time and evening. You should definitely avoid going to the hostel during the intervening hours.
  • Gathering of the students and making noise in the college campus should be avoided. And if there is any problem then the representative student should approach the vice principal. And also students should avoid roaming outside during class time.
  • Students should show due respect to teachers. Any conversations to staffs should take place only in their staff rooms.
  • The students should pay the college and hostel fees on time. She/he should pay full college fees and one semester hostel fee before semester registration. Otherwise the registration of the students will not be approved by Principal as per Tamil Nadu Agricultural University rules.
  • The students must strictly follow the rules and regulations of the University in the examination halls. Must be seated 15 minutes before the examination hall with ID card, hall ticket etc. and avoid electronic gadgets.
  • The ward counseling hours are not free times. It should be attended as like other classes. The absentees in ward counseling submitted by ward counselors will be viewed seriously.
  • Students can report any problem in their lessons or any other matter to the Vice Principal at any time either in person or by mobile phone.
  • Students should avoid scratching and writing in any places (walls, doors etc.) found in college and hostels. Also avoid unnecessary birthday celebrations in hostels. Violations in both the cases will be dealt with severely.
  • The students should avoid sitting on the college wall extensions, roaming outside and unwanted gatherings at the college entrance during college break times.
  • Avoid taking leave on weekends as much as possible. Strictly no holidays are allowed from Monday to Saturday for any reason. Pre-registration with doctors should be done with prior approval of the YC, if there are any unavoidable medical reasons.
  • After public holidays and personally taken holidays, absent must be avoided on next day 7.30 classes.
  • The records & assignments should be submitted on time as per course teacher’s advice.
  • The library hours, NSS Classes & Physical education classes are not the time to relax in hostel. If any students in the hostel during the above hours are viewed seriously.
  • The college functions should not skipped by students .The students should avoid in staying hostel during functions and progarmmes. And in functions any misbehavior (alcoholic consumption, making visil, unwanted noises etc.,) will be viewed seriously and considered as severely punishable offences. Kindly act like professional students.
  • Any damage in College and hostel the common fines will be collected from concerned year. The Ragging in any form at both hostel & college will be treated as punishable offence.
